The name some are calling the Havanese!

These dogs that they have renamed from Havanese to the Havana Silk Dog are of the same DNA and foundation dogs that started the original Havanese. They are one and the same.
They have the same Parents and Grandparents as any AKC Havanese Breeder have in their lines.
These folks say their dogs are Havana Silk Dogs. Why, because they say they do more testing..Which is totally NOT TRUE!
Remember a Vet can Make the results of a test any way they would like them to turn out. And by using your professional name, you can sway folks into thinking that you know all. Just as Human Doctors do sometimes.
DO NOT LET THEM CONFUSE YOU - THEY ARE OF THE SAME GENE POOL AND DNA.
ALSO they have had the same exact test as many many Breeders of the Havanese have had.
We as breeders always try to Breed the Best Most Healthy pups possible and this does not make use feel better than many other breeders ... Or cause us to get a group together to say we are Better, and then reject calling our dogs Havanese.
We as an active AKC Havanese Breeder - will not abandon our Name Havanese, or the Havanese Club of America to fool buyers into thinking we have a new dog that is better and Healthier.. Because it is just not true. They are all from the same gene pool.
Havana Silk Dog" was indeed the "old" name used for the native dog of Cuba in the 1800s, many years before its arrival in the US, (The name "Havanese" was apparently coined sometime in the 1970s in the US.)
And although many Havana Silk Dogs or should I say the Havanese are currently registered with the AKC,
This Group of people have broke away from the Havanese Club of America and call their Havanese the Havana Silk Dogs. They also would like to start a new breed.
How can you start a new breed from the same genes and DNA as the Havanese' that I own and other AKC Havanese Breeders Own.
How could their dog be Superior to our dogs when they are one and the same.
Their dogs do have faults, they just do not record them. Many breeders have proof of this information.
They would like you to think their dogs are the one and only perfect dogs........Ask any Doctor or Vet....Dogs from the same DNA and gene pool carry the same health problems. So there is no perfect here.. It would take Generation and Generations of breeding two perfect dogs to get perfect and this could not happen in our life time.
There is NO PERFECT and there is NO new dog. The Havana Silk Dog is the HAVANESE.
DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEIR SMOOTH TALKING...
They do not have anything but a Havanese that they have changed the name to try sell their dogs are better making them worth more! HMM
The Havanese Club of America will Verify all this information if you wish to call them.
This has happened in many breeds when a group starts thinking they are the elite. In the past they have always failed.
